Found I can cycle further and quicker than the service 6 can do in one journey. Might as well get my bike out in future!

The 6 does seem to take ages. The other week I passed 6123 at Marconi Way heading to Stanley. We managed to look around IKEA and get back to Stanley before it yet it had a near 15-20, maybe even 30 minute, headstart.

IKEA takes around an hour to even work out how to get out once you're inside also.

The 6 takes forever. Can barely walk after 80 minutes on one of those things.
More s*itting myself than anything....

I have had the house to myself for a week now, due to my mother travelling down to Derbyshire to see family. This evening, I was out with a friend, and as I got off the 82 (By this point the time is 2342) this bloke walked past the stop and said to me "Hello young'in, y areet", to which I said "Yeah good thanks mate", and I proceeded to cross the road.

The bloke then collared on that I didn't live across the road, and he pointed to my house, so I made up the excuse I was nipping to my mates house....

The bloke went half way down the street, and then went to unlock the door to his house. I by this point thought he had entered his house, but he hadn't, as I turned around he came back and said "I knew you would turn around", and he came over towards me again.

I then dashed off and walked around Barley Mow for ten minutes until I was sure he had gone. So I have no idea who this bloke is, but he knows where I live and I'm sitting here in the house by myself.....

Call 101 if you feel threatened again

Though there is a chance he thought you were the one up to no good. Yoof of today and all that.
Made a joke and some people have absolutely no sense of humour whatsoever, as some people haven't seen the funny side it has made me look a bit of a tit for making such joke.  Dodgy
My mate got refused on bus with his electric scooter i couldn't stop laughing when he refused to get of but we took the metro eventually as he was intimidating
One day, ONE DAY, there won't be temporary traffic lights at Beaumont Hill in Darlington. [emoji34]
I managed to get a solid 6/7 minutes out of the Castles Express' WiFi....

From Durham to the Salutation Inn!

Did you hit your allowance limit, as by looking at the system there is nothing wrong with the vehicles, and they have been online all day.  If you want to give me a fleet number and time I will have a look at it for you.

Remember the limit is 150mb per day across all vehicles.

Isn't that a 5 minute journey anyway? If so, what's the issue?

That's what puzzled me... 6/7 mins usage out of a 6 minute journey... sounds like 100% availability to me.

I'm guessing he was travelling further than that.

Evidently, I was travelling further Dan...... I was using the D'ham to Salutation Inn example as to where I could use the WiFi from and too.

I was only checking Twitter, so I doubt I used 150mb on just that, considering you can use it for almost a full journey on the 56, for example.

Your post wasn't very clear - it sounded like your journey was Durham to Framwellgate Moor, rather than that being the availability of Wi-Fi. It wasn't just me that was confused, given that Adrian thought the same.

As citaro5284 said - the Wi-Fi is working correctly on all of these vehicles. If you could provide the date and time of your journey, we'd be able to see how many other users were connected at that time (if any), and how much data was downloaded.

I would, but I don't get a ticket, so unfortunately can't remember.

OK, but next time make a note of the times and we will get it checked out, as after looking at usage yesterday, I cannot see anything wrong with the vehicle.
Well, tomorrow's outing is already at risk at getting cut or getting binned altogether as my neighbours are once again out getting drunk in their garden, unfortunately it's warm so I can't shut the windows so I'm going to be listening to them shout and raving on until something like 2 or 3 in the morning... AGAIN!!! [emoji35]

Have you leant out of the window to let them know what you think? Or even better, spoke to them over the fence/in their garden?

Me do that, I ain't got the guts or owt.

Oh you think I'm being an arse about this, at 00:20 at night they have just revved the hell out of a bike! Seriously, what kind of brain dead ignorant pieces of scum are you?! [emoji35] [emoji35] [emoji35]
Go to caption some bus photos to find bus lists on the web is down again

Maybe someone needs to make them aware. They may be so far up their own backsides that they aren't aware of the noise and racket they make nor the annoyance they cause.

Sure enough, it was sometime after 2am when they finally stopped, as you can imagine my plan of getting up at 7am this morning went out the window and I got up at around 11:35 with a headache and bloodshot eyes.

This happens about once a month, it's worst for me as they are only two doors down meaning my bedroom which my bed is right next to the window is just above them, so with a person who struggles to sleep with noise, so I had no chance last night, especially when I had to have the windows open due to the heat.

I think my headache and bloodshot eyes are the result of my anger and frustration last night plus some incidents on yesterday's outing.

Oh and of course, there will not be any photos of the shuttles from Sunderland Airshow today, blame them!
Getting on the 7 at Darlington this morning at 11:42 and getting into Durham at around 13:20, bus took nearly 50 minutes to get out of Darlington town centre when there was no roadworks on the route, just traffic going ridiculously slow.

The result of roadworks seemingly everywhere in Darlington Town Centre. Been like this all week and I think we have another week of this to go. *sighs*

Can only assume Darlington Borough Council thought "it's the school summer holidays, let's do all the roadworks that need doing" annoyingly it's seems they started more or less ALL OF THEM on Monday, that's great instead of holding people up one way for a week or two let's hold EVERYONE up heading EVERY WAY into Darlington Town Centre. Seriously for me, the first week of the summer holidays most years is this really.
Scotrail on strike tomorrow, I was supposed to be on the 15:30 Queen Street-Edinburgh tomorrow, doubt that will happen!
I reckon I may end up going via Carlisle back to Newcastle

That's almost enough to put me off taking a trip there to sample the pokestops, this week.

Lost my fitbit. Goodness knows where. Feel naked without it.

Good excuse to upgrade to a Charge HR, though.

There is a good few pokestops in Darlington Town Centre. I'm gonna have to go back now I have a better idea what I'm doing, might have a wander round Durham on Monday morning before heading up to Newcastle. At least I have the alternative of the train to Darlington and thanks to the event at Shildon Locomotion I have a service every hour instead of every 2 hours for the next week.
