No guarantee it will be any better today. Currently 5 buses tracking and all on one side of town. 3 passed our house in 30 seconds.
I'll have the emergency chocolate ready.
Thank you to the moderators for lettin me back
Safe to say I ruffled some feathers last time I was on ere

Personally I preferred the old BIG MICK STOKOE. The young-un's here have no idea of how good the buses used to be back in the day. I think people are spoilt nowadays with customer services and a companies outward social media awareness.
If you left something on the bus - it's gone -YOUR FAULT.
If you missed the bus - get there earlier - YOUR FAULT.
Refused travel - YOUR FAULT - the driver is always right.
If anyone disputes this, just look at how many people used the bus back then compared to today. Moving towards a more passenger focussed operation has seen a mass decline in patronage. Passengers should be treated like mushrooms, kept in the dark and fed shot. It's the only way of recreating the glory days of the past.
Aye them days are over, drivers today will never have it as good as we did.
had to go into work on my day off. Then getting there turned into a right pain in the donkey. First bus to heworth spot on. Next bus... broken down in stand. Felt like hours till next one turned up and when it did it was 5 minutes late.......... Why you moaning about 5 minutes i hear you ask.............. well the driver was getting mentored by this extremely happy chap. The mentor jumped off the bus when all the passengers got on and went to to broken down bus and spent a good 10 minutes trying to fix it with no joy!!! Anyone good at math's , now 15 minutes late and Im going to be late for meeting. Eventually pulls away and nearly takes out a car and the churchwall when turning right out of bus station.. By the time i get off they have changed over and the mentor was driving and the driver was helping mums with pushchairs and elderly ladies off the bus.
On the way back second bus was in heworth. Saw me moving slowly towards him, ticket in hand and he pulled away only to miss the lights and stand there for a good 5 minutes. That doesn't anger me now though as so used to it.
These drivers and mentors, well worth nearly 15 quid an hour!!
Just add that the driver of the broken down bus not once tried to interact with new customers coming to the bus stop. Me and a couple of other had the app but several elderly people kept checking there watch and looking at the time table yet he just spent his time topping up his tan then sitting at the back of the bus with feet on seats!
