I saw this passing my work today, while i was outside, i wondered what it was.
Not keen on the destination board...
Any good?, it sounds quite ratterly.

Park Lan?! Mind GCT never seem to get the number on the destinations whenever they seem to get demos.
It was pretty dire, whilst it did seem quite nippy in terms of speed, it was rattling like hell and it doesn't seem quite right in terms of spec for a public service bus, only has two stopping bells which were towards the front and about halfway down the bus which weren't ideal when I was sat the back and I may be wrong on this but I think some of the seats were on tracks, no rear destination equipment (and possibly side destinations either).
If a Primo and a StreetLite had a baby, this is it!

10:32 37 Doxford Park Shops - Coach Road Estate
11:16 73 Coach Road Estate - Sunderland
12:05 73 Sunderland - Concord Bus Station
This was the board it was on today at least, which pleased me as I got it straight away!

Was on the same board again today and I had a short ride from Concord to Coach Road, you are indeed correct Jimmi with regards to the seating they are on tracks at the front to the first step, then the rest are fitted like any other normal service bus, I have to say that despite the horrendous rattling and the height to which the driver is sat at which I find to be a health & safety hazard, the Nu-Vibes leather seats were very comfortable and I also thought the engine sounded a lot better than the ones fitted to the Streetlites also, perhaps Wrightbus could offer a further Engine Variant to the Streetlite range in the future.
Furthermore I can confirm that GCT do have a one Nu-Vibe on order from Wrightbus and that they will have the Demonstrator up until that is delivered, once again though Drivers have complained about the Nu-Vibe suitability for service, similar scenario to the one Go North East has had in the past with Streetlite WF. It would seem GCT from what I was told by the driver on the 37 this morning have ordered the Nu-Vibe prior to receiving the Demonstrator.
YX06 CUO was on the Kingston Park Free Bus Today.

There's been a 67 plate bus on the 701 recently, I'm not sure if it's a Streetlite or a Nu-Vibe though.

They've had that one since new, often on Team Valley Sainsbury's when I've seen in.
I understand that GCT have two new Mellor Bluebirds, 18-platers.

Photo posted on Facebook a few days ago identifies one as BF18YRW.
A little bit of digging on the DVLA Tax Checker confirms the other to be BF18YRX.
335 is Bluebird free today with the Enviro and Solo making an appearance
Rare to see anything other than a bluebird at all, never mind two buses covering.
