Nope. Tesco don't have any agreement with Arriva at all.

Bus services have to go where people want to go, and I imagine Tesco is a big pull for people in the local area. Pointless throwing passengers away, but some people on this forum don't seem to understand that

I understand passenger want to go TESCO but I thought with that land being private an agreement would be in place

It doesn't even belong to Tesco, it's all owned by the MoD
And now looking towards July's changes on Teesside, survey underway on Ingleby Barwick services

https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/inglebybarwick

Looks like the options are:
  1. Effectively the reintroduction of the old X6/17 route from Stockton to Ingleby Barwick, and the Ingleby 15 journeys presumably shortened back to Cunningham Drive
  2. 15 unchanged, short 17s re-routed via Beckfields to provide that area with a direct link to Middlesbrough and also provide Beckfields with a direct link to Tesco for the first time since the revision of the 15/17 back in January 2013
  3. One 15 an hour following the current loop of Ingleby Barwick, the opposite half hour journey would operate the reverse of the loop to provide direct links in both directions

Where does it say anything about July?

Using brain. Survey is taking place now and they'll likely be some sort of changes in July. Of course, I could be way out but you never know

They cancelled the service from 15th May, when they're actually operating it until 21st May. I did think it was somewhat odd at the time.

I wonder if this registration will be for the operation between 15th May and 21st May, if someone in Arriva's commercial department ballsed up and cancelled the service from the wrong date?

Ah right, was going to say thought it was odd that there was a new one for ANE when GNE had won it.

Lets just blame Tyresmoke! Tongue  Angel

Cheers Dan.

What can they change with that?
Stopping at Stannington?

The timetable on the website shows that the service will continue but only at 21:35 and 22:35.

Has the 'like' facility gone again already?!

It has been temporarily disabled whilst the MyBB errors are investigated.

And certain people are going to love the new working patterns on the already complicated Bishop Auckland services:
  • 12s will interwork with 1/5/5a as followed: 5 from Bishop, 1 to Bishop, 5a from Bishop, 12, 1 to Bishop
  • 19s will work off 1s from Bishop but will work onto 5 or 5a to Bishop
PVR will increase for 11 to 13 - a 7/6 split.

Fron what I can the 12's will go:

Arrive in Darlington as service 5 like you say.
Darlington Town Centre - Hurworth.
Hurworth - Middleton St George.
Middleton St George - Hurworth.
Hurworth - Darlington Town Centre.
Depart as service 1 to Bishop Auckland.

Boy I am not looking forward to reporting odd workings I see on these services!

Wonder how this will affect allocations? Wonder if we'll be seeing EcoCity's on the daytime 5/5A's?

Those ecocitys should go on the 8
As there's only 2 EcoCitys allocated to the 12/12a (the third vehicle should be a Solo), I doubt they'll be ending up on the 8/8a which needs 3.

As for whether the 1/5/5a/12 cycle will be allocated EcoCitys - I would say not really. As Darlington will have 16 standard spec Pulsars to cover the 1/5/5a/12 (7), 1/5/5a/19 (6) and 8/8a (3) I would hazard at the 2 EcoCitys being spare. (Note - 1414 is reportedly transferring out of Darlington as a result of these changes due to the PVR decrease).

Again please can you mark any speculation as such. Has there been anything concrete said about this?

So wait there am I right in thinking that all 13 pulsars on the 1/5/5a/19 diagram will eventually go on to a 12 at some point?

Doesn't sound like it. From the sounds of things, 7 boards do 1s to Bishop, 5/5a from Bishop and 12s, the remaining 6 do 5s to Bishop, 1s from Bishop and 19s.

He said 'should' so it was obviously speculation.
