It looks like all drivers are now using the correct destinations.
There are delays of up to 15 mins between Airport and Gateshead Stadium , up to 15 mins between Gateshead Stadium and Airport and The Coast, this is due to a failed train.
---
Makes it worse when there are no trains running between Gateshead Stadium - Jarrow/Brockley Whins in either direction from 7.30am - 7.30pm.....
There are no trains running between Chillingham Road and St James in both directions, this is due to obstruction on the line. We will update you once we have more information.
Lines currently closed:
St James to Chillingham Road (no trains to St James, Monument E/W, Manors, Byker and Chillingham Road)
Gateshead Stadium to Jarrow & Brockley Whins (no trains to Gateshead Stadium, Felling, Heworth, Pelaw - Fellgate, Brockley Whins/Hebburn and Jarrow.)

Might as well say all of it lol.
Was a large number of Go North East vehicles allocated to today's Metro Replacement services. Some photos below:

6082 did a run on the 901.

Did more than just a run - it was out all day to my knowledge?

Nope just Brockley Whins and back however you may be thinking of 6084.

There's a big difference between a silver bus and a red one...haha.

6082 was out on Metro Replacements from 10am until 5pm.

It wasn't it was in Gateshead by 2 having been ditched and was still there at 3:45.

At 14:16, the bus ran from Gateshead to Brockley Whins (arriving 14:50), and returned to Gateshead at 15:21. It then did another round trip at 15:54.

Hmm... I'm pretty sure I'm right on this one!

Considering there isn't a 15:54, there was a 15:44 which was 6098 as I rode it.

Though the vehicle is electronically tracked, and you're arguing the toss with someone that has access to it's journey history... Smile

The journey commenced at 15:59, but the driver got in the bus and turned the ignition on at 15:54, in order to travel from the layover to the stand which the Metro Replacement picked up from.

You'd think someone would just face facts when it's clear that they're wrong?

Unfortunately, the poor soul appears to be in denial.

Well I thought the 15:59 was 3983 as thats what I passed.

 It was only on 901.

No.

3983 departed Gateshead out of service at 15:50 and arrived at Heworth at 15:59 so that the driver could have their meal break.

I don't profess to be 'Mr. Perfect', and there's no need to apologise for making a mistake, but the chances of me not knowing where a Go North East bus is at all times is pretty slim!

There's no need to respond aggressively to Marcus. If you have a problem with him - keep it off this forum. Thank you, dear.

I thought something like tracking would only be available on GNE Computers.

The Go-Ahead Group uses MiX Telematics as its telematics service-provider:

You can read more about MiX Telematics on the link below:

All vehicles can be tracked online, live and historical, and mobile phone applications exist with the same functions.

But possibly soon to their revamped mobile app...

Does that mean anyone can track them or not?

As Dan is an employee of Go North East; he has access to vehicle tracking systems such as AVL and MiX. I understand the systems have a password, and can be accessed remotely on any computer/laptop as a result.

Slightly different!

Drivers will only be able to view their "driving score" on their version of the app, and see where over-speeding, harsh acceleration and harsh braking events have taken place on a map.

No - certainly not. There's only a handful of people with access to this system.

One Stanley driver wont get a good report then. Does all 3 of those things.

The systems can indeed be accessed via password on any computer/laptop. Arriva (and Deutsche Bahn) use HAFAS/Hacon.

And Stagecoach use GreenRoad:

Think we're getting a bit off-topic now, though! At least we have confirmed that a TEN double-deck was out for more than one run on the 901, eh? Hahah...
