Think we're getting a bit off-topic now, though! At least we have confirmed that a TEN double-deck was out for more than one run on the 901, eh? Hahah...
Come on, Dan... You should know not to start a sentence with a connective!

Ah, but I quoted someone else's post and carried on their 'sentence'.

It's been my ride to or from work five times in the past two weeks, and the days where I haven't been on it, I've passed it!

I was on it the other day, it was better than the refurbished ones..... shows how much worse they got after refurbishment.

Think it smells a bit and the doors are a pain in the arse, but much prefer the buzzer sound of doors closing on the units which haven't been refurbished.
The refurbished ones have a much brighter interior, but the lighter floor colour doesn't half show all the dirt which clearly isn't cleaned properly on a night.

Ye, the buzzer is quite loud i think.
Ye you can tell the cleaners cba to do it properly.

I wouldn't say can't be bothered. Cleaning is outsourced (to Interserve I think?), and Metro are probably getting exactly what they're paying for.
Mind you, it wasn't the greatest idea to go with a light floor...

Although the 27 is nearly finished now.
Wouldn't be surpised if start of service is delayed tomorrow.

From "Sort out the Metro" group.
Spoke to a member of staff at heworth they said it's likely that there will be no metros all day, the overhead line is completely down and also northern trains are not running either.
