Tried to reset it several times and hasnt worked. Been using mobile data to check tapatalk on here but not been posting anything just to save it. Needless to say, its BT and we have had similar problems before.
BT is ****, honestly don't know why we continued for them to provide our WiFi especially as in the weeks before it was renewed the hub would go off for several hours, with it being off for around 27 hours on one occasion. Honestly don't know why we renewed as even when it does work it's is terrible, on my phone I often can't load images so checking the Flickr app is a total waste of time and it took ages to actually view the image posted in the "sleeping commuters" thread earlier and this is all the time. Think one of the reasons we renewed was for BT Sport and I don't know why as it is very rarely watched so I have to suffer painfully awful WiFi so we can get a channel cheaper that is barely watched, especially annoying to me as I don't have an interest in sport.
My dad has always said that if Virgin covered where i live, he'd go with them. We have had so many problems with BT lately its getting to the point where it is becoming a joke. I can see us going back to Sky once our contract has run out.

Not sure why this has suddenly started to happen in the last few days as the hub hasn't been moved or anything, chances are it's just stupid BT.

Obvious question, but, have you tried turning it off and on again?

Hate it, waste of space. Here's what usually happens when I try and view everyone's Flickr photos on the Flickr app.

Turning it off usually makes it worse!

BT WiFi is probably the thing that has probably gotten the biggest amount of my frustration in this thread, that or Flickr.
Don't forget the on again Wink

Had to do that with mine, last night. Plusnet and usually problem free, but my laptop stopped talking to it and when it did connect, it was like being on dialup! Took 5 minutes for a page of this forum to load. Without any photos. Rebooted the router then all was fine.

But Jimmi, what if they did just upload loads of grey boxes to mess with you.

If that's the case everyone I follow on Flickr must be in on the joke as this happens all the time with various different accounts. Funnily enough it's fine if I go on the laptop.

Would that be the conspiracy to piss Jimmi off

Funnily enough, the data ran out shortly after I posted that. I'm using my mam's iPad until the 23rd...
Maybe it is time for a 'what's making you feel old today' thread.

Either way, seeing that it is the 20th anniversary of Radio 1 in Ibiza - makes me feel old/is annoying me

Anything which triggers a nostalgic memory from the 80's or 90's, then realising around 20-30 years have passed since, makes me feel old.

I feel like I'm over the hill already in some respects. Youth is definitely wasted on the young.

Remember when we had Radio 1 Roadshows, rather than the Big Weekend?

Yup. I think Radio 5 had them for a while shortly after airing. I remember going to Alton Towers when I was young and grabbing loads of Radio 5 merch when I was there.

I certainly can.
Often saw them around the country over the summer. Ditto the Big Breakfast roadshows.
I'm bored, and cannot motivate myself to do things to allivate the boredom..... vicious circle.

Talking of Roadshows does local radio still do them

No idea to be honest. Certainly can't think of any that have been mentioned on the radio recently.
Like Radio 1, I imagine they maybe do it over a night or two in one location (the arena?).

I used to go all over following Metro Roadshows mostly Alan Robson, and later Wayne..Me and Alan goes back nearly 20 years

Went to Amsterdam with them twice too...I will never see days the likes of that again, me getting robbed on the ferry(not really funny, I laugh anout it now though) Wayne losing his passport, I told him he might be deported back to Holland while the authorities ascertained his identity(which gave me a good laugh)...He got me back big time over the next 12 months...

On the radio he said I was 'A 21 year old mammys boy with mild tourettes who snored like a road drill who constantly burped and farted and kept him awake all night' a while later in Blu Bambu he happily told the whole Club 'He aint just chunky round the waist...she'll tell you, they went all night' I had all kinds of drunken riff raff wanting to shake my hand.

The worst one was in Amsterdam he talked me into visiting someone, I had too much to drink and smoke, he gave me some Jelly Viagra and co-erced me into doing it otherwise he would tell everybody about my 'brewers droop' so I did to spare myself the embarrasment...

He's a bastard really lol
Having to physically jump out of the way of some ignorant old prick on a mobility scooter. Hate the bloody things, had many near incidents with them.

Also the family taking a week to decide what drinks they want and can't seem to grasp the concept of 2 for £1. And of course service 5A being late as ever.
