Stocktons original plan is 39 buses but now you add on Slatyford’s 18 for a total of 57 but because they’re going fully electric I think they’re getting 62 or 64 so I wonder where the others are coming from.

Stockton are due 40 of their own plus the 18 Slatyford examples - taking it to 58. There's also mention of at least 1 electric decker coming for the school runs.
19432 is now at Sunderland, on the 18.

27728 is at Slatyford

Apparently there’s a way around it by also having the depot face the other way so towards the field out the back engineering where the buses park now and buses where engineering is now but buses parked facing towards the field this way it’s apparently classed as industrial so people can’t complain about the noise. Something I heard anyway.
slightly off topic but does anyone know the 72 at slatyford is allocated a double decker, always looks empty even at peak times whenever i see one.

Yeah I saw it multiple times today.

interworks with the 115 school bus in the morning and afternoon

Does the 115 in the morning then 72’s from 8:59 until 13:35 trip then the 14:50 115 then a few 72’s and two 71’s. I’ll never understand why they chose the 72’s for the scholar work it really doesn’t need a double decker.

Probably because that corridor can drop down to every twenty minutes at school times without overloading the services. Rather than having more complains here about 62s and 63s going missing to allow deckers to run scholars.
Look at Stockton - the PM school runs works off a 58 board every day (except for the set-up as UTC and Sedgefield have different finishing times on different days of the week).
I seen a photo new Electric buses no 73089 in Middlesbrough buses today how new Electric buses of Stockton depot?

Also, just seen this on the Stagecoach UK enthusiasts Fb page, post by Mark Hayes.
Stagecoach Manchester
Period 9
10467 SN65 OAZ Hyde Road to Stagecoach North East
10484 SN65 OBU Hyde Road to Stagecoach North East
10485 SN65 OBV Hyde Road to Stagecoach North East
10486 SN65 OBW Hyde Road to Stagecoach North East
10535 SN16 OMZ Hyde Road to Stagecoach North East
10578 SN16 OTS Ashton to Stagecoach North East
10579 SN16 OTU Ashton to Stagecoach North East
10580 SN16 OTV Ashton to Stagecoach North East
I think all of them are now but here's the official list of what's moved, just incase anyone needs to update their own personal fleet lists.
They eat through antiroll bar rubbers like nothing on earth, 15 min job usually. There’s a clamp on the exhaust that rusts and snaps due to how hot the exhaust gets on the gas buses in particular. If you are lucky that snaps clean off so you can just replace, less lucky and you have to fight the rust and corrosion to get the old clamp off to replace it. And they’re all going through a phase now of the occasional O/S/F airbag leaking which needs replaced. That is probably the biggest job on that list and on a good day shouldn’t take more than 40 mins or so to do. A bad day consists of all of those issues but usually a gas bus would only have 1 of the 3 on an inspection

I believe it’s one of the ones that should have been for Slatyford so anything between
73089-73106.
Does anyone actually know what’s happening with Slatyford? It’s all gone quiet with regards to the depot getting done so they can have the electric buses. Seems like we’re getting the 11 plate 277’s and the 69 plate 262’s whereas Sunderland and Stockton respectively are getting brand new 74/25 plates. It’s honestly a bit concerning that Slatyford seem to only get second hand things nowadays.

There needs to be a way around electric chargers indoors. It's not just going to affect Slatyford, or there's going to be a lot of depots across the country in big trouble.

There is - hence how both Oldham and Hyde Road depots in Manchester have been electrified.

I thought it must be a simple enough fix with some engineering work, hopefully they can use that knowledge up here. Or just demolish the building and piss off all the residents if it's a cheaper option.

The main issues is the building is very old and it’s surrounded by residential houses which I’ll never understand why they put the depot in with houses but never mind

In fairness, it's no older than a lot of the bus depots in London which have managed it. Arriva's Brixton depot is an old tramshed aswell, just picking one out.
Want well stagecoach Stockton do about double deckers when Electric buses come well Keep the deckers for school work?
19432 spotted in Walkergate depot today and 27728 has gone back to Sunderland from Slatyford.
Are Slatyford getting the 277’s from Sunderland when they get all their electrics into service?
26283 has returned from repaint in local livery
19683 and 27718 swapped back to home depots. 19683 Shields and 27718 Sunderland.

Must be a bad one by that response.
As a bus driver for Slatyford I’ve had confirmation about the electric buses. Slatyford’s batch is going to Stockton. Stockton will receive their original order of 40 and will be taking some from other depots batches to make up their full requirement to be fully electric.
Slatyford will receive a new batch later in the year when the depot is done and the power line is in. The power line is the biggest problem as Northern Powergrid have to run it from near Kenton School to Slatyford depot.

Well the depots between Slatyford’s order and Stocktons are Rugby, Leamington and Nuneaton so I have a feeling it might be some of them.

All the posts, seem to say 20 for Sunderland... so hopefully we get 20.
