That'll not deter them, it'll just push the problem further along the road, obviously they are trying to protect the passengers and drivers, but believe me, the lengths some people go to cause damage now is quite freakin scary
I agree, the diversion route was quite a surprise to me, normally they avoid Blakelaw by going up Ponteland Road then going down Etal Lane, but they avoiding the area completely. Not sure if the issue is Blakelaw or Cowgate as both estates sit either side of Ponteland Road.

They're still serving Cowgate aren't they?

From how I read it, it's doing something like:

Unless I've misread it.

No, I think you're reading it right - but turning at Springfield Road I guess means they arent serving the northern end of Cowgate near Harehills etc.

I'm surprised for the expresses they arent diverting any via Grandstand Rd and through Kenton to Kenton Bar, as it could be quicker/shorter and maintain more links (but would mean Aldi & primary care centre wasnt served on Ponteland Rd).  Presume X47, X77, X87 turn off to Kingston Park from Jct 77 while X87/X88 will turn right from J77 then right at Kenton Bar roundabout (i.e. X47/77/78 won't actually serve Kenton Bar roundabout, just the A1 roundabout, unless they're looping back on themselves to maintain links from that end?)
Just searched "Blakelaw" in Facebook. You don't have to scroll far to see what has been going on. Its like a war zone after dark

Aye just had a look at the tracking to confirm, seems like they are and skipping the Kenton Bar roundabout on the X47/77/78. ie. https://bustimes.org/journeys/937450935

God knows what's going on by the RVI, seem to be missing that aswell, not aware of anything there?
73133 is at sunderland depot unsure whether it's a transfer

Why would it be there for repaint, you've been told before, theres buses still in Stagecoach Beachball livery, those take priority (except anything thats had major repairs) over stuff in the 2020 livery

28009 and 015 been towed away, didn't get any pics as I was driving.
Which E200MMC was it that was out of action for ages was it 26068?
If Bus times is correct it appears 73132 is working from Sunderland with 73185 at Stockton
73132/133 have transferred to Sunderland with 73185/6 coming in their place - apparently all 75 plates are transferring to Stockton
26068 is back from the dead and looks to be freshly repainted as it looked like it had vinyls missing

Why? They were supposed to be Slatyford’s. What will Slatyford be getting once the chargers are finally switched on?
Anyone know when "Ticketer" machines are going to be installed for service

Training starts in December and they’ll be used from mid January no exact date.
If anyone is interested as to why Slatyford haven’t started using their chargers yet and why the remaining Yutongs haven’t arrived yet it is because they got the wrong planning permission. They’re not allowed to turn the chargers on yet because they council have said you have the wrong planning permission. You couldn’t make it up.
26279 has returned to service for the first time since March

Suprised it’s came back. Are Slatyfords yutongs going to Stockton as well?

From what I’ve just heard…. Yes. Don’t understand why. We’re getting their older ones so replacing the new 75 plates for either 74 plates or 25 plates makes absolutely no sense

Whats the point there the same bus just a different number on the number plate haha
Weren't the 74 plates 73089-106 initially bought for Slatyford but due to the time it would take to install the chargers they ended up at Stockton? Wouldn't be surprised if this swap was more to do with moving the newer vehicles out of Tyne and Wear in preperation for franchising.

Also does anyone know about other transfers happening:
27726 and 36470 are both now in service at Sunderland, 27725 and 36471 are both having work done on them in the depot. There doesn't appear to be anything that has left Sunderland as a result.

Yeah they were but I think those ones are staying at Stockton. I believe our 75 plates will be swapped with the 25 plates but your suggestion about the franchising is probably the case. Stagecoach won’t buy new stuff for Newcastle, Sunderland and South Shields until it’s sorted.

Slatyford only have 36469, 36473 and 36476 left out of them 364** batch. I believe 36472 could be withdrawn (not confirmed) the engine was dying, jerking under acceleration, top speed of 30mph it wasn’t healthy. I can’t see them putting a new engine in it with its current age.
So Stockton are receiving the newer Yutongs because of something to do with the funding they receive for having a fully electric depot. 73177-73183 and 73189/190 will leave Slatyford for Stockton and I believe they’ll be replaced by 73138-73146. I expect 73176 to also go back to Stockton as they took 73175 back from Sunderland so that would mean 73147 also comes to Slatyford.

When will they be going/coming?
