Today Stockton had 4 spare buses sat in the depot doing nothing, my guess is they don’t need it so allowing Slatyford to keep it. It’s still being used for training at the moment but the Tees Valley branding has been removed for the North East Combined Authority branding
Ok mate
73053,6 go some point back to the really home at some point buses at stockton depot will stockton need more yutongs then or not?

That will entirely depend on the outcome of the TVCA contracts in March/April. Stockton run a PVR of 14/15 (not including Flex…) on contract services for them so there’s a good chance they won’t retain all of it - indeed prices will probably go up to justify keeping new electric vehicles!?
Ok mate

28019 is also out today on 4/13s, according to Bustimes.

I suppose Coatham Coaches or Hodgesons could be interested in the East Cleveland 1 and 2 which is probably a bit of a hassle for stagecoach now. One of the taxi companies such as Boro Taxis or 23 Taxis could maybe be interested in Tees flex but not other than that since they is really no one else in the Teesside area anymore I would think Stagecoach and Arriva will keep the majority of contract work.  We really could do with some new independent operators on Teesside but sadly it seems unlikely it will happen anytime soon even though Northstar and GCT have shown it can still be successful.
I see that 27166 has new home from stockton depot.

I don’t think Coatham will put in for any of it now I’m not there. You never know though. It would be a bit far for Hodgsons even from Darlington to run the 1/2?
I’d be watching Go Ahead personally. They outbid everyone on Conyers, and have a base in Whitby that would be equally easy to run contracts from.
37311 according to bustimes is back out in service on 6/7 in Hartlepool after receiving some engine work at hartlepool

36972 is at sheilds in exchange for 10631
There was a Stagecoach E400 in local on the back of a truck, not being towed on a trailer, heading southbound on the A1 passing Team Valley at about 19:15 tonight. Anyone know anything of that?

when is it going back
What is the actual point of 19680 being at Hartlepool? Every day it does the 8:17 1 to Middlesbrough and then the 9:43 1 to Hartlepool and gets changed on that trip to an E200 and then doesn’t come back out until the day after. What a waste of a double deck bus!

Meanwhile you have unsuitable E200s on main Slatyford routes and unsuitable E300s on Walkergate routes!

Its here for a reason to act as a reserve for Stockton if anything happens to there electric decker but can be used on Hartlepool’s own services.

Yet Hartlepool has nothing but E200s and the 7 often gets packed leaving the Headland or Owton Manor.   The 1 is often packed leaving Middlesbrough so at least Newcastle has a fleet of full size buses and deckers other than 1 double decker which as I have said is mainly here to act as a reserve for Stockton Hartlepool is expected to make do a fleet of mostly knackered E200s so I wouldn’t complain to much.
I thought 19680 was going to Hartlepool for UTC/scholar work?

19680 has a dual role at Hartlepool - the trip it works on the 1 into Middlesbrough on a morning has been identified as one of the busier trips, however it sits on the front of the all night 1 working. In addition, it is to act as back-up to Stockton's electric decker (presently 80000, soon to be Yutong 83000), being used for the Sedgefield School run when that is off for inspection.

As for 'unsuitable', unfortunately they are the only Euro6 vehicles in the fleet - and other areas require deckers more.
