North East Buses

27739 is a loan and also a shields bus not Sunderland’s.

Sunderland's allocation seems to be all over the place today. Looking at Bus Times they also have 19438 and 39707 on loan.

Apparently the gas plant went tits up last night. I suspect all the backshift buses tonight will be diesels.

Didn’t realise it was SS’s bus assumed it was Sunderland’s.

That makes sense now. It did appear that the E200s and E300s seem to be spread across all routes. With the gas buses cropping up on the 10s/23s etc. Wonder if there is a contingency plan if it doesn't get fixed today.

Probably not although I have a feeling it's been fixed now.

That’s correct they both are on loan

Freshly repainted 10632 has entered service for South Shields this morning on the X34.

Just wondering if there are any updates for these vehicles. Are they still at the same locations, and are they being prepared for service here ? I notice that they are all in bustimes but don't seem to have turned a wheel in anger here yet.

I believe 699 (could be any of them really) is at the Wheatsheaf, with panels missing/replaced and the paint rubbed down.

I'm currently on 27728 heading for Sunderland on the E1. We just passed 27688 heading the other way (towards South Shields) at Horsley Hill running on trade plates.

I thought that 27688 was at Stockton depot seen photo it?

27698 was at shields getting prepared for repaint I believe

Fake. 57/58 are on the 37 today

10631 has now moved to South Shields and joined 10632, just 10633 still to move now

The batch for Witney are just being delivered at the moment. Vehicles numbered between 11747 and 11753 have been reported so far.
