Ironic as one of Carlisle's E200MMC's is heading over to Newcastle right now but doubt it'll be swapped out today - if they do.

How many times - the Carlisle-bound E300s are replacing their oldest E200s not the E200MMCs. As for the one heading into Newcastle on the 685, there's a single round trip Monday to Friday which is technically booked for a single decker - it swaps onto the 79 when it gets back to Carlisle.

I wouldn't really say getting 64/65 Plate E300's which are 10/11 year old is exactly what Hartlepool wants anyway as they're the definition of a cast off.

There's no point in trying to explain this, they need the 'capacity'. All this work to allow buses with 41 seats to replace buses with 37/38 seats...

so what 4 - 6 extra still means more seats which means buses won’t be as full with people having to stand. Obviously you don’t use buses in Hartlepool especially at peak times when they really can be full loads

I've heard they need DD's some days
27172 is now at Slatyford for Carlisle/Morecambe

Yes the 1 can always be quite full leaving Middlesbrough.  The 7 can get full before it’s even left the Headland or Owton Manor at certain times same with the 6.

Yep, exactly. If there is such a demand problem on the 6/7 as people are making out. Instead of spending millions of pounds rebuilding a depot, personally I'd just drop both routes to every 15 minutes and run them with the deckers. The reduced PVR will easily pay off running a bigger vehicle on the route and it means you could get shot of almost all the ancient 59 Plate E200's to boot aswell.

No-one is going to lose sleep over a 15 minute service vs a 12 minute service.

80000 is back at Stockton and entered service this morning on the Sedgefield school run - whether it goes out on the 58s on that board will be revealed in the next few minutes.
73164 has also entered service this morning - it’s presently tracking on Bus Times as 27507 pending the reallocation of the baseplate.

Did 73157 break down this morning on the X40? Looking at bustimes it might have.

Cord snap?
27242/51 have gone to South Shields today with two stores yutongs coming the other way - unsure whether they’re for shields or to go elsewhere

I’m surprised they’ve gone I’d have thought the 271’s would go first. I do wonder where the 272’s will end up.

Understand 27160 27161 and 27164 will be going to Cumbria via Wheatsheaf Paintshop for repaint
27172 and 27173 have disappeared from Slatyford guessing Carlisle or whoever have picked them up
27169 gone (27 June) and already in service in Morecambe.
When new yutong U11dd double decker come to stagecoach Stockton depot well old livery or new livery saw new single deckers for stagecoach in livery?
27913 just arrived at Slatyford to swap with a Yutong. Be interesting to see where that’s bus is going
Into service today at Stockton are 73154 on what is normally the decker-worked turn on the 57/58 (80000 still required for Driver Familiarisation before it can used on the full length of that board rather than just the school bit) and 73168 on the 59 - the later is tracking on Bus Times as 24120 (baseplate requires reassigning).

Let me ask my magic ball. Honestly no one knows wait and see
27162 27170 and 27913 all parked up at Slatyford. 27162/170 will be destined for Morecambe or Carlisle but it will be interesting to see where 27913 will end up

27913 will probably go back to sunderland
If stagecoach Stockton depot is full Electric feet now we'll stagecoach Stockton depot get Electric buses to teach new drivers now not diesel buses is that right or not?

27740 is on the Slatyford 63, I wonder if them 2 have been brought in to allow 27739/740 to leave South Shields as they’re Euro 6

Odd idea - given 27739 and 27740 are meant to be the back-up for the X34.
Likely cover for deckers off to Silverstone? NE usually send a few down there
27238 has been dispatched to Hartlepool - supposedly to replace a Dart that won’t start once switched off!
