Quite a few years now, just before ticketer machine's were introduced

Not that far back. Think it was about 2019/20. Ticketers were in use way before then.

Think it was when COVID hit, Arriva stopped issuing tickets for concession pass holders around that time as well.
Do they not issue tickets for them when you've got to pay the 50p (which should be a £1 these days)
I do get a paper ticket when I get the 50 into CLS in the morning, but not after that.

Yes, tickets are issued for the pre 0930 fares for pass holders (price varies by local authority).
What are the different prices for, County Durham, Tyne & Wear, Teesside & Northumberland

Not sure about teesside and Northumberland, but in Durham you pay 50p before 9.30, and in Tyne and Wear the pass cannot be used at all (ie you have to pay full fare), unless you have a hospital appointment and proof. This is why in T&W, the 9.30 bus is always rammed with pensioners (and probably very late as a result).

Its also why the workers traveling in Tyne and Wear can get a seat when they are traveling to work to pay taxes to pay for the concessionary bus passes
I paid for my pass with 53 years of taxes, thank you very much
Northumberland disabled passes valid all day. Northumberland Pensioner passes valid from 9am. Prior to that full adult fare. All other ENCT passes valid from 930am. Therefore if you have a T&W or Durham pass and you are getting on in Northumberland at 915am you will be charged whereas the Northumberland pass holder who got on in front of you will have gotten on for free. Quite a few pass holders fall foul of this

Tees Valley is 30p pre 0930 for their pass holders.

I often find a few getting caught out pre 0930 when people tend to go on day trips / holidays owing to the variations across the country, also only valid in your country, when I was in Scotland last year, I was in the queue to board a bus behind someone attempting to use their Welsh concession pass and was not impressed when they got told no, claimed she was being prejudice/racist for not accepting it.
I thought u could use them all over the United Kingdom, well atleast GB.

You can after 9.30am
Before 9.30 you pay the appropriate price for the county you reside in

No you didn't.  The pass wasn't a thing for the majority of your working life.

Yeah that broke down on a 6/7 not long after receiving it from Carlisle it was recovered back to depot dumped at the back of the yard hasn’t been touched since and has been used for spare parts. 22581 is the same broke down mid February on an X82 was recovered back in and has sat at the back of the yard since hasn’t been touched. That was also due to transfer to Stockton.

is this just for the pensioner passes or do the disablity passes have the same rules.

Generally, all of the rules/restrictions apply to both OAP and disabled passes (sometimes variations occur for likes of what happens pre 0930 but depends on the local authority).

Scratch that 24123 is now at Stockton with 27246 at Slatyford. 24117 will be the next to go unsure when 22890 will go.
Apparently 27805s out today anyone able to confirm?
I don't think 27805 is in service yet I don't think mate.
Is 27508 ever coming back
I noticed a rack of most Stagecoach Newcastle timetables at Eldon Square again. It's been a long time since I've seen that.
