Well that’s interesting then considering all the talk that they won’t fit over the pits, wonder if they any chance of Hartlepool keeping it, ok might have needed but shows they is a workaround though.

Hartlepool fitter fixed it at Stockton depot - it went out on the 101 and a 12 yesterday afternoon. All Hartlepool will be getting from Stockton come the electric switch-on I understand will be the E200s and one of the E400s.

Not really, it was an unknown switch in the cab - can easily work out in the yard on that - changing an engine without a pit in the open is a totally different ball game

I’ve been told by the operations manager of Stockton (I am a driver at Slatyford) that there was some required to be done outside the depot which was out of their control. They’ve been told they can have their full roll out Monday 23rd June as long as nothing changes.
I was on the A1 about 14:15 heading to the Metrocentre and when crossing over the Tyne there was a "Bee Network" E400MMC being towed along. Looked like it was heading for Slatyford depot?

Yes the contractors employed by Stockton Council haven’t been great! Have had to replace numerous bits of cable along Portrack Lane to the sub station!
Works have now pretty much concluded and we’ve been given the same roll out date

We will see then because it does seem to change quite a lot of what’s actually happening.

Does anyone know what the plan is for the open toppers? They seem to have re-appeared at Sunderland and have all been taxed. If Bustimes is to be believed 17645 was out in service today.
Also 37318 is now back at Sunderland

I saw it in Sunderland last Saturday although it doesn’t seem to have tracked. Top of Vine Place.

I don't really understand why none have been sent to CNL for the shitshow that is the 78 at the minute, running with closed tops if at all. Surely W/X reg heaps as interim cover would be better than current showing

37318 is back for repaint went yesterday afternoon - should be going onto Slatyford according to engineering - can’t see that happening mind! It’s perfect anywhere that doesn’t have a hill and doesn’t go on a road that has a speed of more than 30…..

Hartlepool then - with instructions to not allocate it to 1s, 59s or the 6/7/UTC board

Perfect for us at Slatyford mate, our buses are a joke.
37313 37316 7mph up hills 36475 about the same they’re absolutely horrendous so 37318 will fit in nicely lol.
I wonder if 37315 might come back as well that one’s awful too just to rub salt into the wounds.
19435 decided to cook itself last night in the depot. Fire was quickly extinguished and damage being assessed. All of Walkergate's 19- and 27- series Enviros were pulled soon after.
On 36973 (its on the 23) and its having problems with its doors, driver had to get out of the cab and pull the doors open.
Gone out of service in the city centre.

It can’t do the 3/3A as part of the route involves quite steep hills. Maybe Stockton can have it for the RP1.

37319 is at Slatyford from Hartlepool. Unsure if loan or permanent.

I wonder if that’s been released by the arrival at Hartlepool of 36977

Any idea what 37319 is replacing?
Hopefully they swap 37301 and 37317 to tidy up the fleet list

Why so many E200s at Slatyford only one route needs them (32/32A)

Apparently 37319 is here as 36468 is long term VOR and 36977 went to Hartlepool to release it. Me personally I don’t think it’ll go back it’s being wasted at Hartlepool when it’s a euro 6 bus.
37301 is euro 6 I believe so that will be staying at Slatyford.
Latest buses to be removed from fleet at Stockton are as follows;
24116 following a major oil leak and damage to engine
22574 MOT expired - too much work required to pass
27506 - Engine issue’s
22341 is being MOT’d tomorrow to be parked up on Saturday which is rather bizarre!

22574 has MOT well into next year.

According to the engineering manager it was due for MOT prep last week to be tested today but was deemed to need to much work.

22574 MOT expires 14th April 2026. So can’t have been getting MOT prep.
According to Bustimes 17645 is back on the E routes, Thurs 19th June
