59 is more major - the hourly extension to Summerville Tesco is axed

Don't know the area but do any other services go the Tesco's?

Stagecarriage X8 is the only other service that stops within Tesco itself (Middlesbrough bound journeys only) with the X8 & X22 also stopping on the A177 close to the store

There's the X12 which stops pretty close by too.

Indeed, not helped by the location of the stop in the site nor the one-way entry/exit system - having the X8 serve the site towards Stillington would add too much time.

The X12 doesn't stop anywhere near the store - the nearest stop is half a mile away.

0.3 mile according to Google maps for a Middlesbrough bound X12. About 5mins walk. Not far off the distance guidance specified by LA's in route planning guidelines.

I was given 0.6miles - 13 minutes walk. From the same source.

My Google maps agrees with the 0.6 miles. The 15 would be a bit closer at 0.4 miles (8 minutes) from the Raglan Close stop.

Turning right out of Coach Lane then basically following the road past Benton ASDA and around Holystone bypass to the Cobalt.
Closure of A184 (both directions between Testo's and Whitemare Pool) on Mon 15 Oct affecting X24, X24A and X34

We have been informed by Nexus and Highways England that on Monday 15 October, the section of the A184 in both directions from Whitemare Pool to Testo's will be closed for essential works.

During the closure, services will divert away from the area and localised delays may occur. Passengers should take this into consideration when planning their journey.

Stagecoach would like to apologise for any inconvenience, delays or disruptions these works may cause and thank passengers for their patience and understanding.

Wonder how long it'll be until they started sending the 62/63's up there,to aid links between quorum and cobalt although theres talk of the 335 being extended to the quorum

Would make sense to extend the 63/63 tho to compete with the 19/54 as it can be extended via Backworth and Northumberland Park and will give a quick connection to Killingworth.

That's a bit random, i would imagine it'll stop at this bus stop?, then continue on towards Park Lane but instead of going in, it'll go the 9 route to Fawcett Street?

There's going to be a new road built to the empire, the 2nd picture, shows where i think its going to be, so likely they could be changed again, to serve the new road.

It wouldnt be hard to extend it either, every 30 minutes on both services which would give a combined frequency of every 15 mins, the buses that dont extend to the Cobalt can still interwork at Killingworth Bus Station, both services can serve Northumberland Park to provide a missed connection that Arriva havent taken up with services 53/54

I think the 10/11 and 12 will be swapping routes between Harton Nook and South Tyneside Hospital, with the 10/11 operating via McAnany Avenue, and the 12 via the rest of Harton Lane and Temple Park Road.

Id imagine it would just go along St Mary's Boulevard, St Michaels Way, Vine Place and then onto Fawcett Street. Id like to see them using that route during the day too rather than them just serving 1 stop at the bottom end of Sunderland.

I can't see buses using that new road near the empire as its quite narrow near to the Dun Cow and it can be quite congested around the Empire at times

NO, it will use Holystone bypass.

I don't think it was intentional.
