Looks like they're doing route learning for when the 22 extends to Cobalt. One of their single decker MAN's has just passed me at the top of Rosehill Bank heading towards Wallsend.

Watch this space, big Director changes in the last year or two and things are in the pipe line, just like we are seeing with the Newcastle 22 at the moment.

- Every 15 minutes (30 eve and Sun) serving same route as X11 to Black Diamond then same route as X10 from there to Newcastle.

If Stagecoach wanted to compete with Arriva on that route they will more than definitely convert some of there decker's to high back seating and Wifi with Stagecoach Gold coming later on, or they will transfer some surplus Scania E400s to Slatyford/ Walkergate with high backed seating to operate it with again Gold coming at a later date

Which areas are left without buses in Shields?

Is the Lonnen in the Cleadon area? If so, it's not too far to walk to the main road, for either 1/2/E6?
