Don't believe any bus has every gone down there before as far as I'm aware but it serves pretty much all of Dudley / Annitsford where people are.
It's mentioned in the Nexus document.
March Road was used for diversions for a short time in United days. If I remember correctly Northumbria / Arriva used March Road for a time in early days, can’t be sure though. 343/344? 365/366?

Aye possibly, I always thought they done the length of it I know the 363, 100% did. Not sure on the other's, bit before my time. The fact there's bus stops on the main road probably suggested something did though.
Edit: Just had a look and found the old route map in the area from 1981 and appears nothing did, see:

What a Great looking network NT had in 1981. Good to see the 3XX numbering coming back. After 37 years of deregulation, we’re about to come full circle. Like we see with energy company profits, it’s rip off Britain.

The 365 did according to a nexus map i have (think the map is dated about 2006ish)
Edit: The Evening and Sunday Journeys of both 365 and 366 were operated by Blue Bus Services in 97/98 so stagecoach are techinically returning to an old route.

Busways did an express from Cramlington to Haymarket for a short time, X43 I think. I think they used Scania single deckers on it.
Where can you find the new timetables for the 37/38 and X63 changes?

It started off with Scanias, then they allocated Volvo B10BLEs to it with R236KRG being branded for the service.

I remember when the X43 started up, it was just after stagecoach purchased Busways in the mid 90’s

Pointless doing small runs. Give it to operator rather than fragment it.

I suspect Stagecoach would have attempted to retain the contract but another operator was simply cheaper.

I think it's just my phone.
Very surprised to see that Stagecoach are not doing anything about the 62 and 63 services to and from Killingworth. For ages now they have been suffering from extreme delays and quite a few cancellations. They also always end up following each other during the core sections of the route meaning that there is sometimes no buses for 15 minutes, when there is meant to be one every 7/8. You would think that they would either alter the timetable or the frequency especially as they have received many complaints about the two services…

see years ago i heard rumors they were looking at trialing a service which covered the core route i think from west Denton shops turning circle, (where the 11 I think it is starts)
all the way through to four lane ends and it was meant to run 10-15 minutes ahead of the 62/63, I think it would have worked as the bulk of passengers apart from the throckley 62s tend to get on inbetween the west Denton and city center sections so a shorter length service running about 15 minutes ahead i think would have sorted a lot of problems,
i know that when the 71 runs ahead of the 62/63 a lot of the punters will jump on that instead, also for the barrack road section there tends to be alot of school kids who will jump on for literally the next one or two stops which bunches up the service massively

Yeah was supposed to be the 64, but it never came to light, the 62/63 is absolute dogshite now
What have they changed on the 18/A?

This is how the 39/40 was operating this afternoon, disgraceful.
And yes, I know Go North East still have cancellations. But the depot operating the new services is not impacted by these.

The Denton Burn works finished today, so everything should be back to normal.
Driver shortage continues to be an issue, however a large number of drivers, including the "contingency" drivers such as myself, are being trained on the 37 and 38 changes.
