65 getting its own unique brand and bigger buses. - Versa?

---------

X22 (Durham – Chester-le-Street – Metrocentre)
We will introduce some newer double-deck buses on this service in dedicated route branding, offering better features such as high-backed comfortable seating and free Wi-Fi. Aligned to this, there will be some minor timetable changes.

Wonder which deckers will get done?

Double deckers I'd imagine.

62 | 62A (Sunderland – Seaham – Dalton Park – Murton – South Hetton – Easington Colliery – Peterlee)

These new services will be introduced to replace parts of services 202, 208 and 265 in East Durham. Service 62 will run hourly between Sunderland and Peterlee. Between Seaham and Easington Village it will follow the route of the current service 202, but calling additionally at East Moor Estate in Murton, replacing service 265 there. From Easington Village to Peterlee, it will run via Horden, running direct via Seaside Lane in Easington.

Service 62A will operate via the current 208 route between Easington Village and Peterlee only, serving the estates in Easington Colliery. Between both the 62 and 62A, there will be a bus every 30 minutes between Easington Colliery, Horden and Peterlee, as at present.
I wonder whats happening to the Little Pinks late evening services as there is no service after the 7.06pm journey from Concord to Rickleton on service 84? The last journey on the 82 from Waterview Park is 20:11 !!??

Medomsley is served by the 47A on a Sunday from 5th September

Ah that makes sense! Thanks a lot.

62/62A is just the old 152 service to Peterlee but via Easington colliery replacing the 208.

No direct bus Peterlee to Durham probably have to change at Hetton between the 55 and 65 now

Looks like the 62/62A will be under the new Peterlee local brand

201/202/208/209/210/V4/V5/V9 - no timetables appear after 6th September - I take it these are all replaced by other services.

Also confirms the X9 will be back on the 6th September.

201/204/209/210 still running , 202/208 replaced, 206 re introduced

I would love to see Double Deckers on new 65, and I think it will be ran by Chester-le-street or Washington, also X1 should have been extended to seaham. With 62 stay Indigo?
Only critisism i have is the 204,i'd renumber it 64 so it fits in better with the 62/62A and 65,also the Q3,its a bit of an odd ball now the Q1/Q2 is going
X30/X31 & X70/X71/X72 PVR looks to be 11x so that will be 6341-51 with 6336 or 6337 as spare. Lets hope they remain reliable and the punters don't end up like Jenny from Bedlington who infact didn't have enough time for a jog (following on from the more recent "Gulls and Buoys" marketing effort) until Queen Lizzie came and saved the day!

No doubt 6338-40 will end up on the X45/X46 releasing some extra StreetDecks for Washington.

DC will probably step in between Seaham and houghton again (with more likely GCT running it)

65 is staying at Peterlee.
One more change I've noticed is that the 50 will now extend to Waldridge Park on an evening, rather than terminate at Chester le Street as it does now.
