The 78/78A was canceled and then re-done as the 78 only.. wonder if this means the 78A will be withdrawn.

Probably between Sunderland and Chester-le-Street. Glad the 88A is going, hopefully the low Bridge is missed completely now.

You also live on the 88 route which makes no difference as the 88 will become every 15 mins.

The 88A might still be running but they've done it so it only shows the 88 on it, same as the new 78 one.

The current 35 is the same, you have to see the other services by clicking on each registration.... cant remember how u do it,i just remember seen a post about it.

The search results aren't clickable. You an get a little more info by searching for the registration number (easiest via google, it seems) but it still doesn't give you every single detail.

Probably stop using the low bridge because it will be a pain to allocate Vehicles in the event of a Versa Breaking down ( If their still allocated by then ) due to Riversides vast amount of Types of Single Deckers with most having Air Pods which cant fit under the bridge. It could also mean GNE might change the allocation to other types of Vehicles which again, Don't fit under that stupid bridge.

My dad also said this anyone boarding at that stop has a much more frequent 27 around the corner, I hope this is the case so we get a range of buses, noticed VOSA has the 17th for the changes which is annoying as I'll have to wait until the Saturday after to bash the changed services.

Exactly, There's a 12 Minute more direct service to most destinations the 88A Serves ( Jarrow, Hebburn, South Shields ) just around the corner for most of the route past Jarrow.
Its pretty pointless and I'm pleased its being sorted out.

Maybe the 'limited stop' refers to the X78? Seems to fall under the same registration (looking at the cancellation one).

Don't think the same logic can be applied, as Stanley and Chester-le-Street both come under Go Northern.

Correct they do, I think the 78 registration will mean there is a change in it somewhere.
