Dryden road links Durham road directly to kells lane. It would have to pass the other end of Beaconsfield road whether it accessed it from dryden road or old Durham road and would serve low fell better going te dryden road way.

It's a separate contract so there will be no obligation for those two services to interwork. Go North East may be able to make their duties more efficient than what Arriva have done up to now.
I think the 33 is more likely to be allocated a minibus than a midibus/full size single deck.

My guess is, due to the diversion towards the West End of Hexham then back via the A69 to Bridge End roundabout (a detour of approx 4-5 miles), the service may need a tachograph due to the added mileage thus the split. I don't think it will be a long-term thing, just for the duration of the closure.
So whats percy mains nexus buses going to do now that the Whitley bay services have been cancelled
