Look at Diversion news on www.simplygo.com

It is a revised route for V6 in Medomsley, during bridge demolition.

Closure of Regent Street at Eppleton/Hetton Downs - 24 August.
Regent Street at Eppleton/Hetton will be closed for resurfacing on Monday 24 August between 8am and 6pm.

During this closure, Service 35A will be unable to serve any of Eppleton/Hetton, although a minibus shuttle will be provided by Sunderland City Council to cover the northern section - Low Downs Road, Church Road and Lindsay Street, connecting with the diverted Service 35A at Hetton Interchange.

The southern section, Market Street and Caroline Street, will not be served and notices will be attached to stops suggesting passengers catch buses on Houghton Road or Hetton Interchange.

When in October are the changes to the Diamond etc taking place?

The changes should appear on VOSA in the next couple of weeks, if its the 25th October for changes.

Any idea when GNE will release the results?

Are there going to be changes to the North Tyneside services in the Autumn? Any idea what they will be if so.

I have an idea of a sensible suggestion but it won't happen. The 1a could run through the week and the 1 run on Sundays

Wonder what the changes could be
Somebody has commented on my photograph on Flickr about the service changes, here is the photo https://flic.kr/p/x6MrLW

Same here word for word, wonder who else has received this message.
I'm sure we will find out if they are true soon. Been hearing rumours that the 17 will go hourly from October too, but I doubt that will happen.

Though the Platinum brand makes sense, not sure about the V8 being extended to Durham.

Interesting... wonder how much of it is true, it is a driver who has told him.... not saying its wrong.

Hopefully changes are out soon, as these could be big changes for the area's involved, hopefully they don't wait until a few weeks before..

So i take it:

44 - Citaro's - Platinum - Newcastle to Stanley

V8 - Orange Citaro's - Stanley - Durham

Wonder if the X43 will be Citaro's to?

If it happens of course....
He has probably got that information from a driver who aren't always the best sources for information despite working for the company - I am not going to believe anything like that until it comes directly from an employee or posted onto the website.

Take it with a pinch of salt. I remember I used to always rely on drivers for information; not trying to tar all of them with the same brush, but they'll tell you anything. Sometimes what they would like to happen rather than what will happen.
