Exactly.

If it is staying, then there is potential overkill through Ouston.
If it is going, then early morning links, are removed.

My gut instinct, is that the X32 will operate something similar to the old 709 or 728 route from Stanley to Ouston, but follow the 28a route between Ouston and Kibby.
Granted it would be slower than the route MurdunoC suggested, but it would mean the peak 28a's can go - but links aren't lost.
Has there been a VOSA registration for the 28/28A?

Yes, though this is effective from 1st November 2015 (so not associated with the changes to services X30/X31 which are effective from the Sunday prior).

That should put an end to that speculation, eh? Tongue

There could of with how bad VOSA is.

Yes the 28/28A is, it says "to amend timetable" from 1st November.

There hasn't but there is still a few to go anyway I think?

Aye I think that's for Beamish though.

Apart from the one discussed previously, no.
If my gut instinct is wrong and the peak 28/28a's aren't being withdrawn/changed - that gives a canny little frequency on the Ouston - Kibby - Newcastle section.

It also means Ouston sees at least 3 buses an hour to/from Newcastle.
Not too bad at all!
About time for a 28 to run via the old 739/740 route between Chester le Street and Newfield I think.

Now posting it on several photos. I feel like he is just wanting the attention now...

I don't like some of the changes if i have to be honest. I think that they'll be inconvenient for some customers too.

But not on my photos, I feel so left out!

This is the thing with service changes, sometimes they can be an improvement to some but an inconvenience to others, another example being me with the upcoming changes to the Arriva X66(X67) the people who board the X66 on the North Road - Great Burdon section of the route will go down from a 20 minute service to a half hourly service whereas the people who board at Darlington Town Centre, Stockton and Middlesbrough get an increase of frequency from every 20 minutes to every 15 minutes.

Stupid me has kist worked out what the 831 will be...

As the X31 is being withdrawn between Stanley and Lanchester, there will be one less bus - I imagine that the 831 will run to East Stanley (just an assumption, the times for the X31 on the current St Bedes timetable has the times from/to East Stanley) via the current X31 route.
According to Jackdriver on Flickr.... 9 omnidekkers will be allocated to the new number 6 service.

Also he mentions, more will be allocated to Stanley and more will be sent to other depots... i would imagine these will be depots with tridents.

Just a reliability check: Jackdriver is not a GNE employee. I believe he actually goes to the same school as me and gathers information from drivers he sees out and about and when he goes to the depot.

Taking it as a pinch of salt, i know what drivers can be like.

Thought i'd share what he said as other people have been posting what he has said.

Never know he was right about the new 16/16A Wink

I'm sure I got told the next batch were going to be allocated to Chester Le Street for service X25.

Most of them will go to Stanley first, when they have enough, others will go else where... if the whole lot is true... of course...
It would make sense to allocate 6129 and 6132 to Stanley to keep the fleet numbers together then, from 6134, allocate the vehicles to different depots (if required).
