There doesn't appear to be any mention of the via Ouston and Kibby express service, that had been discussed previously.

Which surprises me for such a major route. Unless it is earmarked for new vehicles at some stage in this financial year. Could they be using Scania deckers for now?

I would not have thought so - Go North East dropped the "Northern" name from its corporate livery about a year and a half ago.

"New service X32 will operate twice in the morning towards Newcastle and twice in the afternoon from Newcastle via the full length of Team Valley, to improve access to employment opportunities for residents of County Durham."

These journeys will run via Ouston.

Service X32 will traverse the entire length of the Team Valley. Two journeys towards Newcastle in the morning, and two journeys towards Stanley in the afternoon. While Dan has stated the service will serve Ouston, it remains unclear whether it will serve Kibby.
Will 6 & X70/71 interwork to get rid of the long layover at Consett?
Could the fact that services X30/X31/X32 being branded Toon Link man that the 11/12/12A will lose this brand?

I was wondering what vehicle type they will use, and since the frequency is going to every 15 minutes is it likely to get single deckers.

Will it get ToonLink branded buses or will it just come under the ToonLink heading, or as S813 FVK has just suggested - are the New 11/12/12a about to get a new brand??

Maybe that prediction of black omnidekkas may come true...
There are also 5293-5297 to think about too. Could they get repainted black for the X30/X31/X32? I think we will need to see the Gateshead changes posted first before we can extract a concrete theory about what might happen.

Hopefully not. Will look stupid having 2 different vehicle types on the same brand - like the previous toonlink and laser. Even the DD Red Kite looks out of place
I was looking at a B9TL on a late-night TEN service through Corbridge with just five pax onboard.

I realise that there are times that the TEN DDs operate at capacity, but I wondered at what stage a bus operator decides that a service is uneconomic?

It isn't reasonable to delete runs (other than by reducing frequency on the timetable - which, of course, happens on the TEN during the evening).

Meanwhile I have seen some Tynedale Links services leaving Hexham with only one or two pax onboard.

I also realise that I would be disappointed if the services that I depend on just 'didn't run'.

Maybe to help with crew changeovers......Stanley - Newcastle - Consett - Newcastle - Stanley.
A similar point was raised by Dan the other day about Lothian.

While routes use double deckers, they don't necessarily need the extra capacity during the day but do during peak times.
What will the PVR be for these changes then? Might get a better idea when the times are published
Isn't the 96 interworking with the 11 and has already been said would be Toon Link?

That was never officially confirmed, though, merely speculated...

Go North East's website stating that services X30/X31/X32 will fall under the "Toon Link" brand is confirmation of that change, and I can't see OmniDekkas getting repainted black after they've just been painted red a few months ago...

I reckon they'll be the Citaros though, with the Omnidekkas on the 6 and X70/X71.
Good changes all over, its about time the 8 went to Beamish Entrance.

Looking forward to seeing the allocations now.

Looks like it will be that... my predictions went out of the window haha
I would put some omnidekka's and citaros on the X30/X31/X32 and put omnicities, one or two omnidekka's and some citaros on the 6

Missed it completely.
Had to look 2/3 times again to see mention of it.
