Will probably do the normal 17 route from Whitey Bay to Wallsend but omitting Holy Cross then limited stop to Metrocentre.

Can't see Solos being allocated if it's true! It's all confusing at the minute though hopefully find out more in a couple of weeks.

Yep I can see it happening as its more cost effective than a new bus all together.
Maybe the number will be the 18 or something though - can't see it being numbers the 17A as it'll be confusing imo

I thought they would just be extending it, instead of a new number, would be easier.

No nothing said about them, not much they could change with them really?
They could extend the 310 to gateshead via central station but then have to stop interworking the services

Or extend the 10 to north shields
Would be nice to see the short Coasters extended to Blyth during the summer via Ridley Park as a trial. Would make a canny bit and may only require an extra bus.
