Do you know if MPD's will be used on it?

Wonder if they won the other 70* services?

For the 706, the PVR will only be 1? - Hasn't the Venture got a couple of spares?

The PVR for all three services is 1. I think it could be a case of the service being the same number for both directions.
I guess Stanley Travel will retain the scholars 708 and that the services gained by Go North East will be tied under the Venture brand.

Only 1?, GNE could defiantly fit in to the Venture brand.

706/707 - how does the routes work?, 706 - till end of the route and then 707 on the way back?

Sorry for the dumb question, i'm not from the area

I personally dont think its a stupid question at all and ill quickly provide you with a quick overview:

Hunters of Tantobie originally operated the services as service 806/807 and it took around 20 minutes to get around. However, when Stanley Travel took over they added the Hamsterley Gardens and Fines Park section in which added a further 10 minutes to the previous run time. The services ran as 806/807 for a few months before they were renumbered to 706/707. Last year, the company was then approaced by Durham County Council and were asked to operate a scholars service for Tanfield School. It was numbered 708 and was routed to start at Stanley then the 706 route but go through Dipton and Flint Hill before rejoining the 706 route back through Stanley to Tanfield School.

The current service pattern is that the bus will do a 706 and when it gets back to Stanley it will do a 707 then a 706 and so on with the am and pm 708s. If Go North East do add it to the Venture brand, they will still have 1 spare vehicle which would logically be enough based on the amount of times a venture solo has appeared on another service but the rarity that another veichle has appeared on the Ventures.

Cheers, =D

Maybe one of the NEXUS solo SR's from Deptford will go there... of course it depends on what changes happen within the Sunderland area.

The GNE changes are starting to appear on the VOSA website, for 25th January 2015.

Anyway, it looks like changes are going ahead.

One thing I noticed, was that the 71 wasn't amongst the cancellations.

Not reading too much into it, as you say - more changes may be added.

It looks like they're dropping the 56 to every 12 minutes.

I'm glad with the 35 changes, wonder if we will see a 36 registration or will it just be all under one number, as the 35 has every location proposed on it, along with the new 2/2A, just under the service 2?

I think it is under the one registration.

Do you know when the full timetables will be online?

Judging by the past changes i'd imagine 4 weeks, probably beginning of jan.

I don't see them being online much over the Christmas holidays, so i would of thought in the next couple of weeks.
I've always wondered how the bus companies send the changes to VOSA with a timetable of the change and the local authorities and organisations can access these timetables, but the likes of "Joe blogs" a passenger cant access this information as these are the people who uses these bus services and generate revenue for the said bus company.

Do you know if they're still changing the 38?
